Hardware does this seem like a good build for a slim gaming pc?

For a while, I was trying to work out how it would fit a graphics card. Then I found out it has a built in riser card so any size graphics card would work.

Anyway, as others have pointed out, you either need to replace the CPU with an Intel Skylake one, or replace the motherboard with an AMD FM2 socket one and DDR3 RAM. As it stands, the motherboard and CPU are incompatible.

No... partly because you have an Intel motherboard and AMD CPU. You also give us no info on what kind of settings and games you wanna play. And your budget.
I want to play games like tom clancy's the divison, CS:GO, garry's mod, and I want my pc to be prepped to play other games just in case I feel the need to buy the more games...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

and I'm saving up during the duration of the entire summer so my budget can go any way but, I'm trying to stay out of the $1,000 range... and I want a slim pc that can look slightly like a gaming console, hence the raven case...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I would buy a better gfx card

Looks are irrelevant what matters is air flow and cooling, also a GTX970 is the minimum for what you want to play. Use this site to build your pc pcpartpicker.com

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also you dont need a DDR4 board or RAM

The GTX 970 is a minimum only if you assume the OP absolutely needs 60+fps at Ultra settings, but considering the other games they'll play is CS:GO and Garry's Mod, I doubt they're graphics elitists. I would still recommend the 970, but since the OP wants to spend less than $1000, I don't see how that'd happen unless they skimped on the performance of the rest of their computer parts (I currently have a $920 build with a 970 and that doesn't even include a drive, OS, monitor, or any accessories because I already have those).

Choosing a case is 80% looks, 15% compatibility and 5% performance/cooling. As long as it has one intake and one exhaust fan, it'll work.

If you've got a 1080p monitor, you don't need more than a GTX 960. If you've got 1440p, a 970 is more than enough. If you've got a 4K monitor, you either want two 970s in SLI or (preferably) a GTX 980 Ti.

looks is the last thing that should be decided only after all the other requirements have been filled
just look at all the people who purchased nzxt h440's based on looks alone and got really poor airflow

multiple intakes and exhausts are preferred rather than just one of each

It used to be true that many cases had such poor airflow that it would cook the components inside. I've had quite a few of them come to me from clients seeking a quick repair. But in recent years cases have gotten better at cooling and components are more energy efficient and produce relatively less heat.

Of course, different situations vary, although since the two hottest parts in the system (CPU and GPU) are getting their own separate thermal zones in the Raven case (thanks mostly to the riser card), that does actually help cooling greatly..... in theory. I'll check some reviews on it in the morning.
Edit: The first thing I found is that the case has no fans in it, yet the temperatures aren't too bad. CPU cooling is limited to 58mm height, but they got around 64C on an AMD APU.

-You'll need a slimline sata to sata power adapter for that DVD drive.
-For crying out loud change the CPU to a Skylake chip or the motherboard to an FM2/+ socket before the hardware nerds here have an aneurysm
-If you care about aesthetics at all (some people don't, and that's ok), note that that case has an orange power LED and all the parts that you've picked have a red color scheme, it might clash just a little bit since you CAN see into the build through the grate even without the side window version.
-Look for a GFX card with at least 4GB of VRAM, most of the cards with those specs should be enough for higher-mid range gaming

+/-Good looking case, I've been eyeing that one myself. If you're wanting it to run partially as a media server, though, you may want to consider a slim aftermarket cooler and getting a ~1TB 2.5" HDD to put into it as well

+RAM's fine
+SSD's fine
+Motherboard is very quality from what I can see

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
