I know I'm just giving this script kiddie attention, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Also apologies if this is badly written, I'm not good at using forums. Basically, there's a guy who I won't name going around writing Wii brickers...

Does this guide here have the latest and best information to do everything? I just want to make sure everything I'm using to install the gamma loader to play backups will be fine if I use this guide. Are any parts of it outdated in any shape or form?
