Hacking Does the new champions amiboos require to Update?

Hello guys do i have to Update botw so i can scan the new champion ambiibos? The new helmets are dope af. Im currently on 1.3. Thanks

Those amiibos are available in the holidays (december).
Since there are no references of the amiibos in the game by default it would be reconized as a normal amiibo or won't even scan.

So yes, it will require an update and the only way to update is to update the Switch to the latest firmware.
Also the helmets arent in the game, so even to get anything it would require an update.

Again these arent available yet, so wait till they are and find out.

Well the DLC isn't coming till later this year,either way you're updating
