I'm always on Airplane mode (just in case), but I was wondering if Enso automatically blocks OFW.
Since the PS Vita doesn't update automatically, I would be glad to know that not even a freak accident (i.e. me being oh so very dumb) could get me separated from the 3.60.

Thanks :)

No it doesn't block you from "accidentally" going to settings, choosing system update, selecting update, waiting for it to download, pressing confirm, rebooting, waiting for the update to verify, waiting for the update to flash.

But if you feel inclined, use the henkaku update server and it blocks the update XML request.

Isn't the update menu gone from the settings when plugins are loaded?

I laughed WAY too hard at this response. :creep:

... I kinda see your point

Thank you for your reply and for all your efforts (big fan here)!

yeah henkaku settings replaces the system update tab in system settings, and with enso this is basically permanent. But I guess you could still accidentally update if you got into the menu through an update request popup.

To avoid this mistake, you can still use VitaRW to remove/rename "vs0:app/NPXS10015/system_update_plugin.rco": even with Enso disabled or Henkaku not installed, it will prevent updates by making its menu "invalid".
However, it will not prevent "accidental" updates through SafeMode. :)

Don't make anything else without knowing what you are doing when VitaRW is active!
