I want to ask them some things.

Why haven't they made a CFW for PS5 YET?

Why haven't they hacked Xbox One YET?

Why are there uncracked games on PC?

Why haven't they released Halo Infinite?

WHY???????????????????????????????????????
It's not April 1st yet

Scene means many things.

To some the Scene with a capital S is in fact those shadowy groups that operate under standards like
https://scenerules.org/
They are also distinct from "p2p" groups that do their own thing, though might borrow some of the iconography -- if you ever saw a pirate film copy with aXXo in the name then while it might have looked like a Scene group ( https://www.predb.org/ ) it was anything but ( https://torrentfreak.com/axxo-returns-legend-080309/ ), however from the end user perspective you largely still had your films (though might not have been held to the same, somewhat arbitrary, standards of the Scene. I will skip what is now ancient video encoding jargon though today).

Some things however adopt a similar terminology and variously pull from it. You might have a console hacking scene, a ROM hacking scene, a DVD ripping scene and more besides.

Scene with capital S tends to be about as much of a distinct entity as you can get, which is to say you could send an open letter of sorts if you have the access*.

*choice video

The Scene certainly has produced many cracks, however just as many, especially for consoles, originated elsewhere. See many a fail0verflow talk here, though the one that ultimately brought the PS3 to heel is probably the best option (console hacking 2010 at 27c3 if the link is iffy in the future).

Anyway the answer to all of them is desire, tools, time, talent. If such things are lacking, and it is something of an arms race between the would be hackers and those making the products, then so will the results.

Ah, meat spin, I remember my classmates thought something was wrong with me when I told about it(which was weird of them, because they were looking for gore sites and I said meat spin was one, so I don't get why they were weirded out, they were already looking for disturbing stuff, I just gave them a different type of disturbing)
