I am not asking whether or not the system can output in 1080p and/or to a 1080p display.
So some PS4 Pro games had this cool feature where even if the game had framerate drops in 4K, it'd detect when you were connected to a 1080p display and use it's extra horsepower to keep a stable framerate instead of pushing more pixels that your display doesn't even have. This is why I got one even though I only have a 1080p TV.
Does anyone know if the PS5 also supports this in some capacity?
