ROM Hack Question Does anyone can modify Snack World Treasure Gold SAVE file?

Here is the save file of Snack World Treasure Gold.
It seems encrypted so I cannot modify money or item.

Does any one can look at it and see if it can be done or not.

I just wanna modify the Gacha ticket which shows 10 on the 2nd pic. And the gold which 6321 shows on the top right corner in pic 1.

It is confirmed for a western release and the toys are coming out this fall on Europe, so it might be closer than we think so why bother?

That's for the 3ds... they have only said they'd consider it for the Switch as recent as two months ago...

Hino said that the Switch will be their major console to develop for so there's no reason why they wouldn't bring that one. But even if they don't it will be easier to port the 3DS official translation, no translation team will take the game knowing that

That's absolutely an assumption. Nowhere have I read that a Switch English localized port will be confirmed or even hinted at. Either way the link you sent was 3DS.

So, give us a save with 10, one with 11, one with 12. It's easiest like that.

@leoredrum - sorry buddy, the save file is encrypted. i can't make anything of it, someone will have to figure out the save encryption before we can edit this (it might be very simple, it might not)
sometimes game saves are able to be edited with no problems, no protection at all.
sometimes you can see and edit the data, but there is a checksum that needs to be recalculated.
sometimes the save itself it encrypted and without decrypting it you can't see anything - that's what we have here.

i hope someone else can help

super late, but I 95% sure I managed to decrypt your save with an old Yokai Watch 1 save decryptor. I'll test later on my localized Switch save to double check, but it seems to work here (I found plain text strings that seem to indicate timezone/location plus an address that appears to correlate to level - though no player name hit so I'm not 100% sure it worked). Now the real question is: if this really is it, why did no one else try that day 1 - or even within the last 4 years. Level 5 almost always gets lazy with their save encryption on first generation titles in each franchise (and this is a port of one such first iteration title).

Edit: OK, yeah. tested on my own files and it 100% worked. The biggest clue it used the Yokai Watch encryption is they even got lazy on the file exensions (Yokai Watch uses head.yw, game1.yw, and sys1.yw while Snackworld just swaps the extensions for .sw). Now to break the save format.

there's an old, mostly-functional save editor called SWE by togenyan (and based on their Yokai Watch editors, since the save is very similar in format). I managed to get ahold of them a while back, but they had deleted all their publicly hosted save editors due to certain laws that passed in Japan that they would [potentially] be breaking by making/sharing the tools. There are still copies floating about on github, though, forked by other people and that still exist despite the original being deleted. Not all of it has English support and it cant spawn in items you've never owned (as the game itself hides/deletes them), but you can edit existing item quantities easily enough.

As for spawning in new items, its possible to swap the item ID hashes in RAM to make the Pick-a-Prize give different prizes, thus inject items that way so the game makes them as properly obtained, but there's a ton of hashes and I dont have the time to make a tool and explain it all here. If you want the code, its in the "Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request" thread and replaces Karma Balm in the PaP lineups with Overlord handbooks - with partner codes to ensure the only prize you can win is 3rd prize, thus guaranteeing the handbook.
