    By button mapping, I mean change the controls of a game. For example, lets say your R button is broken (essential for Mario Kart lol), would you be able to change the drift button to another button, like Y,X etc.?

    No, you would have to do so through some kind of cheat because AKAIO doesn't do it natively.

    The last time I tried to research for some data on how to do that, it didn't produce any good way of figuring out how to do it...IIRC those sort of cheats can only apply to a specific game that they were made for. The only people who would even be able to make those kinds of cheats would probably have to be seasoned cheat makers too...

    btw, just a random sidenote but you don't actually need drifting in mariokart...my friend plays better than me and he doesn't use drifting at all...granted he is somewhat of a video game addict, but still...
