There's always a chance. However, I honestly doubt it.

As a side comment, I'm kinda turned off by the fact that if you lose your continues in this game, you have to start ALL THE WAY from Mission 1. There are no save points.

It'll be dumped when someone gets the game from the store.

I wouldn't expect an early release, like Dementium: The Ward. That game was supposed to sell on Halloween, but Gamestop sold it on the 25th/26th.

She's too young?
She doesn't like "retro" games?
She never played contra before?
She got used to save states? (CHEATS!)

Its not out until 13th.

So wait until then. Dementium got dumped early because some stores sold it early.

Because the "no saves" thing was a way to get more money from people on old arcade machines. That way they had to play from the beginning every time, and pay for every "continue". Newer Contra games kept the mechanism in deference to tradition, but on a handheld console it's really silly to not be able to pick up the game and continue where you left off.

That's Contra for you, one of the main appeals of the game is its difficulty and all Contras have been like that.

It's like complaining why do Mario games have 1UP mushrooms, it's just a trademark of the series.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
