As a side comment, I'm kinda turned off by the fact that if you lose your continues in this game, you have to start ALL THE WAY from Mission 1. There are no save points.

umm isnt that like almost all contra games are...why are you surprised by that?
Because the "no saves" thing was a way to get more money from people on old arcade machines. That way they had to play from the beginning every time, and pay for every "continue". Newer Contra games kept the mechanism in deference to tradition, but on a handheld console it's really silly to not be able to pick up the game and continue where you left off.umm isnt that like almost all contra games are...why are you surprised by that?
