Do you need to Homebrew your DS in order for Moonshell to work? Or not?

Hello I was just trying to figure out to play videos on DS and I saw that i needed Moonshell to do it. Do I need to Homebrew my DS or not?

If you have a flashcart, i don't think so, if you don't, then yeah, hb your dsi and you're good to go.

You need a flash card for the DS / Ds Lite to load homebrew such as MoonShell.

Generally you put the flash card in the DS, load it up as you would any other game then choose what you wish to use form there.
