I do it rarely. However it's only during situations where I'm about to have a panic attack, which is rare.

Meditation is simply focusing on a thing.

It can be your breath to calm down, a situation or emotions to better understand/accept them.
The warmth of the sun or the feeling of a breeze so as to enjoy/appreciate nature.
You can also meditate simply on your body, in which case depending on how you do it it be closer to Tai Chi.
And yes music and movement can be part of it.

It is what you make of it, though if you are someone prone to or already depression/depressed you need to watch out.
Since focusing on emotion can then become a double edge'd sword, though it can also help.

Is meditation a correct name for when I listen to music, my eyes closed, for several minutes, thinking of nothing?
If yes, then I'm meditating every day.
truly, the meditation is when our soul in silent and feels happy without worldliness. it's means ''TRUE HAPPINESS'' that's come from GOD. and i always meditation with my family every day. but often, we call that ''silent''

I wouldn't call what I do meditation but it's close I guess? If I'm feeling in a lot of pain which isn't often I find a small dot or something and focus on only the dot could be anything but I find that the smaller the object the better. It almost completely numbs the pain. Kind of a mind over matter thing.
