Do you like the Switch Lite?

I think the lack of a dock always limited it.

When my brother got a lite for my nephew I said he should get the regular because of the dock, a year later, guess what the kid wanted.

That said, I do wonder if Nintendo should have made more like the DS, to make it smaller and more compact.

I love my lite, just about the biggest id go for an actual handheld-system.
really cant wait to put the oled kit + extended battery in mine and really get the most out of it

Switch Lite lacks a couple of things - rumble, HDMI output, IR port. Obviously, "joy-cons" cannot be removed and face buttons feel a bit spongy until you get used to them. Just like any Switch other than unpatched Erista models, in order to have access to CFW modchip needs to be installed previously.

It still has Amiibo support and the form factor is much better, suitable for a portable handheld. It has a D-pad instead of buttons which is a bit better, but it still feels a bit spongy. I do like the feel of the L2 and R3 triggers, though. It also supports USB controller, however useful that may be.

Overall, it's a decent handheld and I love it for what it is. I love playing Animal Crossing on it and official NSO emulators on it.
Recently an OLED kit was released for it which additionally allows you to install an HDMI output mod as well, depending on if you go for the biggest kit.

What, it doesn't even have rumble? What was the point of removing that... The haptic motors used in the JoyCons may be a bit bulky, but there are much smaller ones used in smartphones. Weaker rumble is better than no rumble at all.

I have a regular Nintendo Switch, but personally, I'm completely neutral with the Lite. It was the first Switch to be offered in a color that isn't just black.

Go asking Plainrock124 if he likes the Switch Lite, I don't even need to tell you what he thinks about it.
