Let's be honest. "Nobody" believes in these things until they're in a situation where "these" things are supposed to work or happen (I'm talking about those brave people who say that they don't believe or that's for stupid weak people or whatever excuse they make to justify their superiority over you, or whoever they're talking/laughing to/of).
For example:
Nobody believes in ghosts or things like that, but how many of these "brave" people are willing to go, or even stay in some of the "horror" abandoned hospitals or asylums? Or how many of them are willing to try some of those "games with death" (like Hitori Kakurenbo)? I'm sure that not so many people.
The fact is that they are (probably, since I haven't tried any of those "games") fake, but the fact that "we don't know", in reality, makes us believe, somehow.
Now, I don't really believe in the existence of any of those things, but since I don't really know, and there are MANY things we don't know about everything... Who knows. I'm scared of those things being true.
Finally, even if scared, I always wanted to try something like the Ouija or "collective" games. I don't know, maybe someday I will try.
