Homebrew Do touch screen calibrations carry over to TWL with Luma?

I have an o3DS with A9LH and the latest release build of Luma and I use Flipnote Studio a lot. A problem I've encountered however is that whenever I calibrate my touch screen in the system settings, and reboot to sysNAND, the changes work for other 3DS apps, but not Flipnote Studio. I often find myself attempting to calibrate my screen whenever I go through a good amount of usage with the app. I don't believe this has been asked before, so yeah, that's my question.

Perhaps the touch screen calibration only interprets calibrations through CTR mode, so when it goes into the NTR or TWL mode then the changes don't carry over to that? I'm not an expert, but that's my suggestion.
