Hi

If i boot my backups through Gecko OS do i still need to remove the 001 protection ??

My Wii is chipped with an older chip that cant be updated, so i have to currently run the main.dol through the generic patcher to remove the 001 protection, but not sure if i still have to keep doing it..

Thanks

I don't think you should still have to remove it with gecko OS, but I'm not sure since I have YAOSM2 wich it has the 001 fix. The best way to make it clear is to check it with an old backup that still have the 001 protection.

granted, I'm not that interested in most "AAA" games on PC, I prefer most of them on a console, unless they're CRPG's.

I actually enjoyed Starfield on the Series X, NPC's were a bit silly though.

Starfield is cool, I got bored w it tho, too many running around missions. Like one I remember was getting someone a cafe drink from another planet. Silly. Gun play is smooth tho.

I just enjoyed the worlds with the quests where everyone was dead

I always had troubles docking to space stations also, ended up crashing most time.

Hm... Don't think I ever had that issue.

Couldn't make anything decent with the hideouts or whatever it was, where you built them

Prob something simple I wasn't doing right, I never look it up, just avoided going to space stations, only visitied planets.

One great thing about Wukong was the World Map, thankfully they added it at the same time the ps5 physical release came out.
