ROM Hack Do I need to buy cubic ninja again.....?

So with the new gateway 3.2 and 3.2.1 updates I was able to install the nvram which allowed me not to use cubic ninja to start gateway... Anyways today I got in my 256gb sd card and used a sd to micro sd card adapter and was able to pull off a whopping 999,999 blocks of spaces.. anyways I tried to used the emunand tool injector then I realized that I needed to format the 256 gb sd card within the gateway menu for it to work.. however, now I'm unable to enter gateway mode with my old 128gb micro sd card and new 256gb sd card. please help and tell me that I don't need cubic ninja to enter gateway mode even after installing the nvram. Ever since pasta cfw cubic ninja has been mad expensive...

P.S. I returned cubic ninja to amazon when update 3.2 came out

But you're fine, you only needed cn to install the downgraded mset. Try gateway mode in sysnand (press and hold b in gateway menu).

Try with a smaller SD card or create a <=32 GB FAT32 partition.

Did you play a DS or DSiWare game? Because that will remove the NVRAM exploit.
If so, you can just use the blue card to reinstall the NVRAM if you installed bluecardfix.cia before, or another DS flashcart if you didn't.

The cheapest way to install the NVRAM exploit would be to get a cheap R4 that works on the latest FW.

Also, to install stuff on that MicroSD you have to fill up most of the space with junk files and delete them little by little as you fill up the space. The 3DS doesn't know how to handle having that much free space

im contemplating on whether I should buy another copy of cubic ninja or get a cheap r4. in order to run pasta cfw is it possible to install cubic ninja as a .cia on the sysnand?
