I have read all 700+ posts in the SSBB-J (DL) release thread over the last few days, and have observed different media types, along with supposed errors from using the negative DL disks.
Let's assume the positive disks (DL +DVD) work without errors, as long as the media is fine. Can anyone say whether the negative DL disks are indeed causing errors with the game, or are the errors because of something else.
I have heard a few arguments why negative should not work right with wii DL games, but they aren't very believable. Can we put the speculation to rest?
Does anyone here have a negative DL disk (-DL DVD) that has worked for SSBB-J, without errors?
(Or, have someone even observed errors with SSBB-J with positive DL disks (+DL DVD)?)
If you have evidence to provide, please add the software you used to burn, the burn speed, the media type, and whether the media is positive or negative. Also, please add the description of the error.
