Sorry to reply to an earlier post, but

It's not. It's the newer model of the r4ids.cn R4i Gold. As the creators said the only change besides the label is the fact that they added a switch on the PCB to toggle between flashcart and NTRboot mode without flashing the card, so stuff for the R4i Gold should work as well.

R4I 3DS GOLD PLUS works fine with TWL

Also, is the loading time for Pokemon White (no donor) just ATROCIOUS for professor Juniper to speak or does the game have a guaranteed freeze there on the o3ds?
((The doc about what retails work presents it as perfect))
It'd be nice if i could just use nds dumps of my pokemon games instead of carts but ... not if it has ridiculous loading times

It freezes due to AP measures.

I'm sure this has been answered before, but 450 pages is too much to sift through. I've begun playing Pokemon Platinum, from SD card, which has been given green on the list. However, it tends to lag spike during interactions of any kind. I've also just reached the point in which I can access the underground, but it flat out isn't working. It almost always just freezes up at various points before Roark starts talking or the couple times I've been past that no dig spots show up and if I try to leave it freezes. So, just wondering if there is any way to alleviate these issues or if I should just buckle down and press on, ignoring the underground.

Most pokemon main games are VERY laggy on TWLoader and a lot of things are broken. Including the underground area.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Some temporary storage
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
