Would be cool to get cheat support too but we'll see what he does. I'm getting excited but some what regret buying that flash card I just got now lol. Has he said any thing about progress of how it's going? I went on 3ds hacking discord but didn't see anything about it.

Slowly as you might expect. I think there was a post a little earlier that mentioned he was working on the first of the patches necessary to run retail games. Also keep in mind that the commercial rom loading is based at least partially if not mostly on stuff reverse engineered from max overload so it is going to take a while to rewrite/reimplement the patches to use the internal SD card instead of the GBA slot. Even once that is done there are quite a few games that weren't supported by max overload which will take even longer to get working.

So yes, it will take a while.

but i still don't understand, i have 60 games on the flashcart, what happens to the remaining 10 ? they are just not read by the app ? can you please consider raising it and also add a counter like game 34/50, or game 54/100 to know where you exactly are in the list, also i would like to report a little bug, the last game's cover art shows up twice next to each other as if the list still had more titles to show this way >>>>

Is there a thread where it's actively being talked about or not really right now?

just get a cheap flashcart and use the app as a front end for it, i got my flashcart for about 8$ used, when this app is setup with icons and box art it really makes it worth using over the default flashcart loader, why wait on booting ds games from the sdcard when a cheap 8$ solution just works, you still get the higher cpu clock benefits and the official dsi look and feel in it's current state, you also get box art as a bonus which i don't think even the original dsi did that ....

I have a card thanks for trying to help though. I was only asking for a thread on the topic because I didn't want to spam this thread about the subject that others have been making new threads about for years. I understand some people feel like we'll never be able to play retail games from the sd card but someone is finally putting in some effort to try and do it now so we'll have to see if they do. If not that's fine we have the flash cards.

Can you post a photo of what it looks like?

EDIT: Never mind, I'm fixing it.

So what exactly is the meaninb behind the flashing rainbow strobe light feature? :creep:

Also why do we have to select a flashcart before using one? Shouldn't it just work when you put one into the system?

This may sound like a dumb question but what if we dump flash carts to use as a rom to load, would that be possible?

Having hourglass9 feature a rom dumper that can dump 3ds and nds roms, even flashcarts, i guess people will say is practically useless to dump flashcarts huh, does it have any uses at all?

Sadly that's not how this works. However, they are still working on getting things working without a flash card but it'll still be a while before we get there.

This is so nice ^^ I had the same Idea but I never started to begin coding ^^ nice dude finally we can record nds games on 3ds

1. Ask @Apache Thunder. to do the boot screen for other languages.
2. Can you be more specific? iirc, the font doesn't support japanese, but feel free to test.
3. That requires hacking/RE'ing TWL_FIRM.

Try reinstalling the TWLNAND side CIA.
