Hacking disc region question

does anyone know of a homebrew application that can quickly identify an inserted discs region?

i found that i can use wiiscrubber to identify any iso's still on pc, but whats a quick way of determining a burnt discs region?

Ocarina (you can find this in GeckoOs and the Backup launcher too) checks the game ID
The last letter represents the region (J=NTSC-J,E=NTSC-U and P=PAL)

Use geckoOs or Backup Launchers rebooter function (with ocarina on)
Result: you can see the game ID and you return to the wii menu
