Hardware Disc Reading Problem Please Help.

I have my wii on system menu 4.1 U. I have it modded with a wasabi Dx and its on 3.0 update. My system reads original games but it gives me read errors on backups. I have gotten it working and running for months. I just went to play a backup today and it refuses. It will go into the wasabi options and i can get it to read and update disc. the system plays games off of a harddrive. It seems that the orignals start up alot slower too. Any ideas? Ive tried all that i know. Reconnecting ribbons updating changing options.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I dont remember if i updated wasabi dx and started getting this problem. Anyone got this problem?
