So what's the 411 on the 2.12?

Not much at the moment, but it's planned in the near future no doubt.

How does StarFox Adventures fair?

As Nintendont have delayed subtitles (though i am pretty sure Dios Mios also had/has this?).

Would be nice if Dios Mios would solve this, but i guess it will simply add audio (obviously;P), and not affect anything else.

Seems to be an issue in pretty much any loader, not sure why...

My only fair guess would be that it may be connected to Audio Stream in some way, perhaps the Stream start point triggers the Subtitles, or something weird like that.
Or it may only be some latency thing, which i however doubt, but depending on how the operations is going it may be a latency that's caused by software rather than hardware.

But well all a guess, it's probably not even close to the real issue;P

^Won't be surprised if that was the case, when audio streaming was fixed in Nintendont not only did it fix the audio but some games that used to crash or didn't work started working too, it's all down to how the game is coded!

I don't know about the stream start point triggering subtitles, as the subtitles in Nintendont don't show up until the cutscene after the one they should show up in, even with Audio Streaming implemented.

that could be a clock speed issue, im no expert but some games run faster than they should due to the Wii's CPU being faster than the GC's. DM doesn't have to worry about that since BC does the underclocking.

Maybe, considering that if the next cutscene has subtitles that require you to manually advance dialogue, the subtitles from the previous cutscene overlap the subtitles you need to advance manually, which work like they're supposed to. However, the game doesn't run at a faster speed in Nintendont, so I don't know.

I could be wrong but I remember in the early versions of DM(L) Star Fox was marked orange not only because of missing audio but also for the subtitles being delayed, if this is the same case in Nintendont then I really doubt it's the audio stream is the problem, I could be wrong though, I would need to test it to see for myself and I don't have this game, never been a big fan of the new direction Star Fox games took!

Hey, so I'm trying to run Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem: POR and Kirby Air Ride from USB Loader GX (all are NTSC versions.) Whenever I boot Luigi's Mansion it works fine until I press start, then it freezes and constantly plays a high pitched noise.

Kirby Air Ride simply stays on a black screen after the DIOS MIOS logo.

Fire Emblem gets to the first cutscene with the two characters swordfighting, then freezes.

I've checked the compatibility list and they should all work. I'm going to double check and make sure Kirby and Luigi's Mansion are not shrunk, since that might be my problem.

USBLoader GX is Rev1226 and DIOS MIOS says v2.10+

Thanks!

EDIT: Kirby Air Ride was definitely shrunk, I'll be make sure I use the untrimmed version. Luigi's Mansion was also shrunk but the compatibility list says it should work at the size I have, which makes me think that isn't the problem. Any ideas?

EDIT 2: The unshrunk version of Kirby Air ride works! I tested it for a bit. I'll be trying an unshrunk version of Luigi's Mansion next. Still no idea on what's going on with Fire Emblem though.

I don't know about Fire Emblem as I don't have that game but I can confirm both Luigi's Mansion and Kirby Air Ride work fine, use clean rips though, I remember Luigi's Mansion worked compressed but it could very well be your iso is bad, if you have downloaded it most sites have broken roms!

Fire Emblem works fine for me. I'm using an unmodified .iso though. I never tried anything else.

Edit: I also use a real memory card. I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't use NMM or whatever because the save file has protection.

Not sure where to post this but this looks like the best place.

I recently got into using this with the only very select few games i would like to play on ngc before i re-buy them (lost all in fire once)

but i ran into an issue with 2 games, 1 of which explained the error -nfl 2k3- so i just deleted it. The other being one i really want to play (seeing how i can use game saves on ngc to have all levels open) is Sonic Gems Collection
The release is
Pal/multi/working for internal wii

BUT when i go to start it, it shows dios mios screen then the green screen. Stays green for a while then black for a few seconds then back to green. Ultimately staying either on the green screen or black with no progress.

Now everything is updated and only thing i can think of would be any different if at all would be switching from the DML im using to DM

I also dont like that even though i have 20-30gb free on my ext hd formated to fat32 with the right sized clusters it wont let me install any ngc games to that hd. They are went to my SD card

anybody? ....,

On Twitter he said there was no timeframe prior to release.

In other words, he doesn't have any intention to release it at all from the sound of that. I was hoping for one as Nintendont still has no BGM for games like Burnout 2, as Dios Mios played that game with music. Ugh.

No that's more like I'll release it whenever I have time and it works well. I for one still use DM as my main GameCube loader since Nintendont still has some random crashes, freezes and glitches for many games that DM does not.

I'm still mega excited for Nintendont, the MC emu, Audio Streaming and Bluetooth support are by far magnificent additions. Just needs those tweaks that unfortunately are very time consuming especially when only 1-2 people are actively working on it. So with more time will come more improvements and compatibility. I remain hopeful.

Yea u can talk to me about Nintendont being better than DM once the games are stable enough. I'm all for features but I rather play a game in its entirety from beginning to end no problem. Right now DM has Nintendont beat in that section. Crediar has attested to this as well.
