Oh not at all, I'm not hating on Devo, I use all 3 to be honest, and prior to Nintendont was my number one loader for most games I owned. Devo is still the top GC Loader IMO as long as you own the game, and if it doesn't give you any issues during the verification, which is known to happen as recently as his latest revision r234, there is better MC EMU, Real MC Support, Modem Emulation for support of PSO, bluetooth support, shit what's not to love lol. For games I don't own and even a few that I do, DM is still the best, as long as you have a BC Wii and a GC remote, there are games that play better and don't have graphical glitches like Devo does.

However I still do want Nintendont to be the best (simply because it's open source) whether it's tomorrow or next year, and the fact that you can use HID controllers with it as well is a huge plus. Basically to achieve near 100% compatibility though, you need all 3 lol... or just grab my gamecube.

And modded games can run with better performance. Such as the N64 Zelda emulator Nintendo did with other injected ROMs.

I'll give you one major reason why Nintendont and Dios Mios are on top of Devo for me:
Hacked and modded games.
You can't play any modded version of Melee or a TGC N64 game because of the damn verification.

Add to that the feature of Cheat codes, which to me is a BIG plus.
Going through some beta stages, beta weapons, character mods or being able to play as a character you are not intended to, is a great plus and adds a ton of content to the games.

Oh and don't forget...
Nintendont can play at least one of the Triforce Arcade games, and Dios Mios can play all of them.
I would love to see how you can verify those games with Devo. :)

Guys, guys...
Let's not drive ourselves out of the topic, please.
If you want, let's take this discussion to the AP for Devilution.
You can continue there, but let's leave this thread clean of that and just comment about Dios Mios.

Nintendont > DM > Devolution Then again, Nintendont and Dios Mios are tied since DM has audio streaming, but that version isn't out yet (nor do I think he has any intention on releasing said version). Devolution having AP methods is but only one reason why I don't prefer it.

DIOS MIOS is getting a new feature

Hopefully crediar does release it *snip*.

I'm not the bad guy here, Densetsu. I was simply defending crediar from a poster with a long history of crossing the line in his criticism toward both crediar and tueidj. Did my response also cross the line? Perhaps, but it's not like I said something that everyone wasn't already thinking. As a mod, I respect your efforts to quell disputes, so in the future I'll work harder to apply the art of subtlety.

Sorry about that, won't happen again.

im pretty eager to get audio streaming. Nintendont works, but I've noticed a bunch of bugs (wii mote not turning off when GC games loaded).

how the audiostreaming can works on diosmios? i remember the mem problem (mios limitation)

I wanted to check the Dios Mios thread before I finally downloaded Nintendont for audio streaming for some games. Seems I can just use DM after all!

it's been a long time since i last touched wii homebrew. i am planning to make Tales of Symphonia run on Dios Mios lite but i can't find anything that says i am in the correct version for it. if it helps i downloaded the program this year.... where can i check? the booter says it's r30...

Not sure how you can see the rev. nr. because i haven't used DM (lite) in a long time, but this link wil get you the latest rev. (which is SVN r41 and officially known as version 2.11) >>> http://crediar.no-ip.com/dwn.php

Hi! I have some questions about Dios Mios. Me and a friend are trying to get a first generation wii to play super smash bros melee via an sd card, but can't manage to understand how dios mios works. We want to use dios mios as we don't have a wiimote, and all the other ones we can find needs to have AHBPROT disabled, which we cannot do without a wiimote. (we only have a gamecube controller)

So! The questions:
1. Does Dios Mios need AHBPROT disabled?
2. Is there a tutorial that takes us through the steps to playing the game? We have a boatluad of folders that we downloaded, but we have no idea what do do with them.
