I found strange Katen Baitos :blink: not displaying subs properly

Btw I tried rev45 and it corrupted my card. Maybe the problem happened at my end only but I advice everyone to always backup their files just in case. :)

Since this is logged in a critical moment, trying to log might have caused the corruption. In r47 logging this is disabled(still logged via usb gecko), if it still corrupts your sd card, please report.

I'll be out for a while...once I return I'll test rev47 and post results.
 
I've just dug out my old gamecube games and transferred them across. I only have a couple of games, but Star Wars Rogue Squadron II - Rogue Leader (EUR) is the only one not working with DML r46.

From the dm.log it looks like the game isn't being patched & if I leave Rogue Leader in the drive then it will work because it's from the DVD. You can remove the SD card and the game keeps working.

I'm using usbloader gx but I assume this doesn't make a difference, if there is a loader that is known to be better then let me know and I'll try it.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III - Rebel Strike works fine as it does get patched.

Ok, Since everyone is telling me that MGS Solid DOES work on r45, I'll try it out AGAIN. If it frezees again, I'll post my log. But I'll try out r47 first.

Also, how stable is r47? In the comment section of the source says that it IS unstable

Dude the game works just fine.just convert a clean iso with
DiscEX-0.8.,do not shrink it,the game runs flawless

It should tell why the .dol is not patched. Also, did you shrink the .iso or something? If yes, can you please try again with a clean 1:1 copy? Some games are broken by shrinking, even if the file alignment is respected.

This is being worked on. Right now DML ignores the video mode the loader uses.
 
I think my MGS backup got corrupted, 'cause when I put it back again, it worked like a charm. Both in r45 and r47. Now I just hope I don't get a corrupted memory card :)

It was a 1:1 copy and while it didn't work with r46, it worked using r47 debug. So I installed the standard version of r47 and it's working great.

How do you make a 1:1 copy?
 
rXX is just a code revision. all of them have had NMM support for ages. you just have to have either compiled it without a line commented out in the past or with a define set now

I have r44 "precompiled with nmm" support. I'm not really clear on what you mean here. Does r47, for example, have nmm support 'turned on' by default?
 
nope, it isn't turned on by default, you need to change some lines to activate NMM..

Although i might figure it out myself, i was used to have a precompiled elf...so i still hope someone will up it to svn
