Izneo, a digital comic service available on iOS and Android, has been launched on the Nintendo Switch. Izneo is a service that allows users to buy digital comic books, and read them across a range of devices. On Switch, it can be used in both handheld and docked mode, allowing you to see your comics on a big screen. This follows the December release of InkyPen, another comic book application that instead works via a subscription service.

Izneo will also be available on the Nvidia Shield, Phillips, Sony, and Android Smart TVs.

No offense, I'm not into reading. I much prefer to watch something. It's more compelling to me that way. :ninja:

We wouldn't need a app like this if we just had access to a web browser like wii u. But they too afraid of getting hacked by one again.

Is nice. I use something similar back on the 3DS (yes i use the 3DS for reading manga) called Honto or something similar, becouse i did not discover the power of ebay/amazon for import manga at the time. But i have to say even after spending money on the digital copy and then buy the volume it self...nothing beat the sensation of having the volume in your hand. But still a nice addition for the pepole how wnat to read comincs in digital format.

Unfortunaly i wil not use this app, is not for me, especialy becouse non of the manga i read are ever gonne here so i stick with buy the volume from ebay/amazon.

From what I have researched, their library seems to be lackluster compared to other sources.

Your guess is wrong. It’s not free.

Wait you need to pay the app? Is not like honto, i go on what i know from the 3DS version, that the app is free and then you pay when you wanna buy a comic?

Can any of these be used to read your own comics?

I've hundreds of gigs of .CBR/.cbz and I wouldn't mind using my switch to hold them as I have far far more memory space than my phone

The app is obviously free, as any and all comic reader apps available on various platforms. What’s not free are the comics.
