Haha hey i mean, 15th time is the charm eh romsstar
Each time is usually for something different. On one occasion, before we improved the tools we were using, the way we were able to identify who said what line of dialogue in the cutscenes was to have him speed run the game and record the cutscenes. Other times it's been to test the ASM hacks, or to figure out who a particularly unusual NPC is triggered, to add some context to our translation. And after a while, that goes from being a fun game to an annoying slog.

theres a download link for? if yes, anyone can send me? if not, anyone can explain me the current situation about the patch? thanks alot;

Patch is still a work in progress. Almost 98-99% finished if I can remember correctly blog posts. The only thing we can do atm is waiting, most devs have also irl occupations so they can't fully concentrate on the patch right now

Given the current progress the patch should be released around summer holidays, so people should just wait patiently until then. =O
Eat some pie while waiting (while exercising as well, otherwise you'd all be obese from all that pie). x'D

And that's why you guys rock! Putting yourselves through so many iterations of the game for us

Everything says 100% and it was last updated on Jan 15th, so I'm going to guess you're now in the phase of testing to make sure everything works as intended? Haha

Basically. We have some playtesters going through the game while I finish up a few more things in the colosseum.

So at the latest if everything checks out fine it should be released around June? Given that there aren't any bugs, glitches, typos or anything like that.
Well, there are definitely typos, I've been fixing them based on the reports I've been getting from our play testers, but yeah, June is probably a good estimate. Possibly earlier, if everything goes well.

Also, I'll give more details here when I know more, but we're thinking about doing a live stream part way through testing to show some of the early parts of the game. Partly it's because we've been getting a lot of annoying accusations that all of our existing videos are photoshopped, but mostly it's because it sounds like fun.

Ah June is actually really close in the grand scheme of things! That's made me even more excited.

Also, with the livestreams, I think that's a great idea and if enough people get watching it, it might make Twitch frontpage and boost the popularity of the project even further.

I've been playing my Japanese copy of the game for now, but my understanding of Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji are quite limited. I'm able to figure out the menus, but the story-line is confusing to me. I'm excited to get the translation and be able to follow along the story-line instead of just collecting Digimon. XD

fuck those guys let them think what they want, there's no reason to validate that their claims are wrong. just ignore assholes like that. their trash

Have been following this project since the start glad to see it almost finished.
I'll be skipping out possibly after playing recode on my 3ds and having veemon I'm not sure if i can go back without him! lol

Decode is definitely a better game, which is why we'll be translating that next.

Actually they can say what they want, I may not have made it inside the project but I saw the Jijimon hut files and they were 100% real. Plus what kind of person would spend so much time photoshopping and keeping a lie going for years? Sometimes I wonder if those people even think -.- or maybe they're just too bored irl and take to annoying people that actually do something for us gamers.

Happened to the previous project I joined too. They even go as far as to claiming the stream are edited videos too. It irritates the hell of all of us back then. lolz. Just not sure what motive they have doing that but it could just be an indirect way of supporting - causing people to search more on a certain projects to deny their "claim" or they simply plain bored in life as mentioned.

Anyway, you guys will prove them wrong once this is all done.

People Just don't believe translating can take so long. But these people also don't know how translating, especially from Japanese works. If the translations were out as fast as these people want them to be then each game would have SAO HF engrish

Not to mention how weird some translations turn out, you have to reconstruct the whole sentence over in english, that's why it takes so long
