I was about to use the SEARCH function to give you a direct link to the tread with the solution for you, but then I thought you might as well do it yourself.
It's been talked about quite a lot not so long ago, search the forums.

Sigh.......

Go to the Supercard site and download THE LATEST FIRMWARE AND PATCHER(Pc software) , I believe is 2.58.
After you update your files(there is an extensive guide on the official site), download the Supercard ROM DAT Update(which can be found at the beginning of this tread) and unzip it into your Supercard folder on your PC(mines looks like C:\Program Files\SC).
You will be asked to overwrite a file called rominfo.dat. Click OK.
Now go and patch DKR with the Supercard software as usual, but remember to uncheck the option "Enable restart" otherwise it's not gonna work.
You should be all set to race.

thats a direct quote from you ARM. the part that im confused about is "nzip it into your Supercard folder on your PC(mines looks like C:\Program Files\SC).
You will be asked to overwrite a file called rominfo.dat. Click OK."

Hey Good Job !
You see why sometimes do I get tired if I have to repeat myself over and over.
Anyway I don't understand why you still have problems, basically you have all the necessary steps listed above.

Actually that is a no-brainer.
Did you install the supercard software on your PC, right ? Now by default, the supercard software creates its directory to C:\Program Files\SC, but the user might change the folder when performing the installation.
So basically if you just clicked OK when you installed the Supercard software on your PC ( it's called rom patcher you'll find it there C:\Program Files\SC), and that's where you have to put the updated .dat file.
That should work. If you still have trouble , try to let me know exactly what are you doing, you might perjhaps overlook something easy without realizing it.

I'm glad your SEARCH pointed you in the right direction....
