My dumbass put a sd card in the wiis disc tray instead of the sd slot, this happened cause I tried to insert while looking at my phone now I look like a idiot, what do I do

You could follow instructions to disassemble your Wii, and the slot loading disk drive. Hopefully you can just pick the sd card out, then reassemble everything without further issue.

You might get away with just getting to the drive in disassembly without taking the drive itself apart.

It is not a big deal if you have a Triwing screwdriver at hand. I once got a Wii U for very cheap because of crap inside the drive. Took a few minutes and → :)

Can't resist: Why are people staring mesmerized into their phones all the time instead of concentrating on what they are doing!? I mean this example is harmless compared to walking around looking on the phone… or driving a car… or a bike with zero hands at the handlebar.

Good news it’s out, however the microchip is gone, but atleast the disc tray works as it’s supposed to now

To avoid such stupidity in my part, I’m switching to usb sticks from now on

I gotta know, did you disassemble or were you able to just like shake it out or something?

Dissasamble it i guess maybe find a guide online but why using the SD?
i get that its probably modded and all but if you were running games on that sd it wasnt gonna last any much longer, i dont recommend usb's too much either.
Best option if you want to run games is get an old HDD you can hook up to your wii.
And i hope everything goes well while disassembling your wii good luck :)
