
To avoid such stupidity in my part, I’m switching to usb sticks from now onYou could follow instructions to disassemble your Wii, and the slot loading disk drive. Hopefully you can just pick the sd card out, then reassemble everything without further issue.
I gotta know, did you disassemble or were you able to just like shake it out or something?Good news it’s out, however the microchip is gone, but atleast the disc tray works as it’s supposed to now

How is one meant to connect a HDD, if not by way of USB?i dont recommend usb's too much either.
Best option if you want to run games is get an old HDD you can hook up to your wii.
