Gaming Did i break my Animal Forest Game?

Hello everyone! A while ago i attempted to change the reigon and language of my animal forest new leaf game with luma locale switcher. When I tried to run the game it gave me the arm 11 data abort error. I tried a couple of more times and it still game me the error. Then I tried changing the region back to the system default but it is still giving me errors. Can I fix this? Please help and thank you!
P.S. I did not update the game yet so I will try that first.

is it a cart or a digital download?

I got a Japanese o2DS a few weeks ago, and before I CTR transferred I had to manually change the local of a few games to get them to actually run because they were only German carts. Others, like OOT and Miitopia would only start up in English, but to get it to start in German I had to change both the region and! locale. Some Japanese apps, no matter what I changed, would only start up in Japanese.

It may be that the cart/game has a sort of language failsafe. Unless it's set to the values expected, it may crash.
