Is it possible to configure the controls? I ordered a MayFlash adapter, but it seems that Devolution does not match B to B, A to A, Y to Y and X to X. Fine for the Classic Controller Pro, but bad for May Flash thus preventing the use of GameCube controllers proper.

Hi,
awhile back I got most of my GC games to rip and verify in Devolution, except for Twilight Princess. It would always exit back to the homebrew channel whenver I tried to verify it. The disc was pretty scratched, though, so I chalked it up to that.
However, I just bought a pristine copy of Twilight Princess, re-ripped it, and I'm having the exact same issue again - I can't verify it.
Can anyone help? I just have no clue what could be causing it to not verify.

Edit: when I went back to my Wii U, I tried running the game and noticed that the light on the wiimote would start blinking, and would stay lit when I hit the home button, like what happens when I'm playing my other games. But the screen stayed black. It makes me wonder if the game verified, but something is weird while trying to run it.

Please let me know if I need to give any more info. I really would like to get this game running.

So I have to make this post requesting this again, as I recently learned Devolution had been updated to r200 (seriously, update that OP)
Devolution loader STILL does not seem to support video mode forcing.
This still is a distress to someone using RGB cable on european Wii, yet has imports because in any other case, I would be playing NTSC games in PAL60 mode - but with Devolution NAH.
The error is that the screen will be virtual boy shades of red and nothing else unless I can force PAL60 or alternitively just use composite cable. To someone who already used RGB for long - Composite is not that hot - but sure, I have that alternative as a backup for sure, I guess.
Yet, with Dios Mios the option of enforcing PAL60 is there. Using the actual disc from my Disc channel still boots the games in PAL60. So this problem is bit of "overlooking some user's needs"

Otherwise, amazing, tested the classic controller and dual shock 3 support - WHILE also using a GBA and GBA interfacing even still works, which is darn super. For all of that I thank Tued. I also would have liked to know about this update earlier but, I guess I just follow the wrong place, like, this thread for it.

Hello everyone, I just joined this forum today because I wanted to see if someone else was experiencing the few problems I met with devolution (great homebrew anyway).

I'd like to know if some of you people had freezing problems occuring regularly, like I did : I'v read on an other post that "Oshtoby" did, so I posted a reply because I might have found out something interesting?

Unlike many of you (I guess), I'm not using devolution on my Wii U, but on the very same Wii I use to verify the discs : so I have a real gamecube memory card, and wasn't till recently using emulation for that.

Yet, it seems that using a real card could somehow cause these freezes, at least I haven't met one since I tried emulation, so I'd like people among you who own a real memory card to tell me if they've experienced problems too ?

If it happened to be a real thing, I suggest you use GCMM to save your data (just rename the raw file you created in your USB driver to memcard.bin, and paste it in the gc_devo folder, you'll get all your saved games back) : just let me know !

Best regards. (pardon me for my mistakes in English, I'm a foreigner)

I think it would be less frustrating if my games were rejected because for scratches marks, and a 4 blink led, but this 10 blinks give me no idea of what is happening. I have no problem with the disc as I can play them normally from the channel disc, but Devolution just give me fatal error, any idea why is this is happening?

Hi.

Where can I find the latest version of this and a good guide on how to install it?

Thanks.

Did you try reading the first page of this topic? All info as well as the latest version should be there (note: ignore the version number, the link allways downloads the latest revision).

Question: I been reading this a few times and it says I have to have a 1:1 clean rip of my game. What if I make a rip in .ISO file but cant find my disk now. I have the .ISO file but no disk. Will it still work without verifying the disk?

Thanks.

You absolutely have to have the disc in order to verify it.

Hey guys has anyone else had a problem were devolution works for anywhere between 1-30 minutes and then freezes or brings up an error message and then returns to the HBC. It also seems to loop the music for a few seconds and then the problem occurs and does this with all my rips. If anyone has any suggestions they are much appreciated and thanks in advance.:)

"PS3 controllers support two extra functions:
- L1 + R1: When the PS3 controller is connected to the wii via USB this will write the
wii's Bluetooth address to the controller's memory so it can be used wirelessly. This only
needs to be done once (until the address is overwritten).
- L3 + R3: Exit Devolution (performs the same function as pressing the power button)."

tmv_josue Thank you that seems to have done the trick
I was using a 1TB toshiba hdd but now I am using a 128GB Sandisk SD and it is working fine. Weird because the hdd worked with my other Wii perfectly.
