Hacking DevMenu and SaveDataFiler Help!

Hi guys, I've been searching through countless of these threads for a tutorial on how to install DevMenu and SaveDataFiler to no avail. I've tried the whole BigBlueBox thing by installing bigbluemenu.3ds and using the cia and csu files that they included in their release but was met with an error that it was invalid. Can anyone help me with this please?

Pretty sure you have to "convert" the csu file into a cia, as the cia files included are for dev consoles. Look up .3ds to .cia for dummies. Note that the .csu file extension can be renamed to .3ds as it's essentially the same format.

i gotthe sme problem, i tried to convert the renamed csu but i get an errror on the last step
