(this isn't a complaint just reporting for testing purposes)

Glide64 NSP unable to run for me, frozen black screen on startup.
Using ReiNX 1.6 (Stable) on fw 5.1.0
that happens if you don't use the provided configuration files

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Could someone please post a step-by-step guide for N64 Emu with the required prerequisites?
install the nsp, put the provided configuration files in the retroarch folder, launch the emu

OpenGL is apparently being worked on.. It's been discussed numerous times over the past 10 or so pages. That's being generous. I understand your angst, but please read the thread.

Thank you for being polite, at first i got no plans to disturb anyone, really my fault to not check the thread properly, but it's utterly unnecessary people here being so unpleasant just cause a question.

Ok, glide64 runs if i launch retronx before.

Slooowly but compatible, i test many games and all of them works, great!

Can anyone help me with Dosbox? I load the core, then load the .exe file but it seems my inputs or not working. when I enter controls, I can only set Button 1 and Button 2 as well as D-pad buttons.

Please help, I'm dying to play Prehistorik 2 on my switch :(:(:(

I hope to see the shaders on retron X
I bought a switch, to replace my xd gpd, but it is not ready to retire, no shader for the game boy, game boy color, game boy advance, the image is completely musty without shader

basically all the handhelds that have specific screens with lcd between others,I agree that trying to imitate a crt is complex,( I still have a sony crt for that), but played with an lcd screen switch, which emulates a game boy or gba is simpler than imitating the screen behavior, of different technology, lcd vs crt cathode ray, it has nothing to do with it.
Here are some snapshots made on my gpd xd, which has an lcd 720p screen as on switch, and I use core retroarch on android, make your opinion on the game boy dmg

This is exactly the look you could get with a shader on your 6-inch switch screens...too bad.really bad,and the gba the difference is worse... If you are interested in this type of comparison, don't hesitate to ask, the snes? The genesis? Scanline 1280X720 is of course on my gpd xd.

Should have grabbed a GPD WIN 2 instead if thats the case its miles ahead for emulation and will be for a while than the switch
