Not sure if it's HBL or the homebrew themselves, but one (or both) of the two needs to be programmed with multiple controller configs in mind; in my case, split 2-player joycons becomes two vertically oriented controllers (I.E. two combined controllers, missing one half of themselves)

I just wished I didn't have to reboot into RCM every time I have to update/add in homebrews. FTPd certainly doesn't like working on 5.x.

My code decides to use the mode (player 1 or handheld) that libnx sees fit

Would be possible to make 2p working without too many changes I guess, don't forget it's still the first iteration of the joypad driver.

Caused the least issues till now :p

overlay snes v2 interested?

I know its not priority, which is fine, but whats stopping xmb from being enabled?

It would have not compiled if you did not put in the libnx instructions into the Makefile. I leave the libtransistor instructions into the make file and follow suit with what was done in SNES9x2010 and rename the platform to "switch_transistor". Though I digress, I predict you will get the same results because you are doing the same thing.

Nope, same result. Now I officially declare that Genesis Plus GX hates me. And so does PicoDrive, which fails to compile and throws me up an error.

As far as I know, XMB requires 3D graphics in the same fashion as 3D console cores, that may be the reason.

Not explicitly; Vita is currently mostly software rendered, and it's defaulted to XMB.
It has a fallback mode without shaders enabled and basic text. I'd hazard a guess it's just because lol early homebrew days, GFX stuff still needs work on Switch.

ah ok, rgui looks horrible. can we adjust the color to make it less of an eye sore?

Do you know if they carry a inbuilt md5 checksum? I had to replace it since I was too bored to write them, so any features using them will fail.
I know there is a CRC only flag somewhere, but if I research that for every core there will be no end for me lol

The md5 functions appear to be Retroarch deps\mbedtls\mbedtls, just slightly different names. for example the file compat-1.3h has : #define md5_init mbedtls_md5_init
Ill see if I can hack my way around it and get mame2003 to compile.

Sounds good, I just got home but I am done a f.

Just enjoying finally having sleep mode :D

But I don't think thats it, probablyy because it uses some RGB format I don't support yet

Material UI should work tho.

Material UI gives you the same UI.

Or it doesn't work and defaults back to it or I am missing some config.

I can enable it and nothing changes

And it shouldnt evne compile if it needs shaders

iirc Material UI uses some external assets, same for xmb.

Probably, as long as you have a Bluetooth dongle or something like that. I heard @Leonidas87 can use his PS4 controller with the Switch this way...

Been extremely busy last little bit.

Yes you can use the xbox controller if its wireless with the dongle I have.

It is the 8Bitdo wireless bluetooth dongle.

Here's a link for it, make it easier for anyone interested in it.

Works very well with no lag and in the emulators also. Basically just like the pro controller.

Also works with Windows, PS4, Xbox and android if I'm not mistaken.

Runs best with ps4 controller, all buttons are fully mapped and HD rumble works also with the ps4 controller. Works with xbox, wii, etc.

Plus it looks like a mario block lmfao
:gun::whip:

I feel like I shouldve seen that earlier

It's all that smoke in the room lol
