You sound like a dealer. XD

Lmfao naw was just spreading the great news, I know it was off subject but MOST people in this thread are GOOD people. Why not let all the BUSY people know.

I was only taking a brake and seen the news.

Anyways great work with all the build everyone.

Is it possible to make 2 controllers work in the SNES9x core? I've tried 1 pro controller and 2 vertical joycons, and 2 sideways joycons, but they won't recognize second player.

  1. Open up the retroarch.cfg in text editor on pc
  2. search for "input_player1"
  3. change values as needed
  4. save
  5. transfer to switch (/switch/fceummnx/)
  6. restart switch

Uhh... I did that

but it never remembers them, no matter how many times you save it, or even if you edit the default config before putting it on your SD card.

It didn't work.

I got Beetle-PCE-Fast the NEC PC-Engine/CD core up and going. So far normal card games seem to work just fine. Only really tested one PC-Engine CD game (Akumajou Dracula X) and it ran more or less perfect. Here is a video showing its performance:

To get the CD games to run you will need to put the BIOS file (syscard3.pce) in "/switch/beetle-pce-fastnx/"

(This is one that would benefit from a overlay/border)

The thumbnail reminds me of @Billy Acuña.
Still good work though.

It plays Double Dragon II and Ys, so it's more than enough for me~<3

Though, weird how the scaling doesn't work in this core. They all either look scaled to fit with jaggies, or in this case being run at native resolution.

Thanks Melon! Unrelated question...What video capture device did you use for your Switch to record this?

Holy shit, am I happy to see all this progress on RA Switch :D
You guys are working wonders here!
At this rate we'd have an official release by July for sure :)
I do hope so!

Best of luck with compiling other cores and implementing new stuff (like threading :p)
Hopefully GPU is not that far off for our beloved 3D cores too :D

Here's Gambatte!
The UPDATED build, now with audio, configuration and overlay support! (among other things)

Now I reckon that only the 3D console cores are left, and oh boy...
There are quite a few more

I plan to tackle a few tomorrow, but about to bed for the night
