You are the man![emoji41]
The overlay rocks good!
Gonna check if the thud sound heard while opening a game is gone.
At least it isn't so empty for now on the screen, and its really cheap to render for me too

Docked works if the Application is started while docked!

@m4xw Maybe add this tutorial by @salami68 to the main post?

https://gbatemp.net/threads/porting...h-tutorial-walkthrough-and-discussion.506009/

to where you mentioned "Stuff anyone can work on: Port more Cores (it's easy AF for most!)"
This will complicate things (it literally says zeros of value for specific core porting)

I don't think I want people that needs this stuff explained to work on that.

Any Linux user is overqualified for most of the simple cores.

But appreciated! Tbh I don't care enough about tutorials and shit. Not my beer :D

Never have, never will!

Works great man sound is perfect. The sound only messes up when u enable vsync. Is there a way to make it fullscreen yet?

Not anytime soon.

Scaling maybe, but not rendering in different resolutions.

Btw I can't hear the difference anymore, is it too fast, too slow or fine? Feedback!!

I call that Version 0.8!

https://mega.nz/#!vtdCHZIT!7DfFM4hom_LI93PZF8dgjGpy-DLN0CNWtKSBNTy44vo

  • Added Overlay (disable by default via config)
  • Added default config (same folder)
  • Analog dpad by default!
  • Audio fixes (feedback pls)
  • Tearing is known, try setting vsync in the .cfg to true!
Just throw the folder into /switch and go!

Btw:

Retroarch Menu is now L3 + R3 (Left and right analog pressed in)
Saving states is R
Loading states is L

If anyone wants to work on custom overlays, MAKE SURE THEY ARE 1280x720
Really damn cool, but dude, did you take a nap in the last 24 hours?

I can confirm that. Sound is just perfect now. The thud is gone for good!
Only issue I'm having is not being able to save config file. Pressing A doesn't help, am I doing something wrong?

You have to manually edit them right now!

I still don't know what I wanna do with all the UI stuff

The sound is good it lags and stutters with vsync. Does scaling not work in the settings yet? Cant seem to scale it.

If yous would like to use REWIND feature it is mapped to the Right joystick, just push and hold to the left.

MUST ENABLE IN SETTINGS/FRAME THROTTLE/REWIND AND THEN REWIND ENABLE.

IT DOES CAUSE AUDIO AND VISUAL SLOWDOWNS SOMETIMES FOR SOME GAMES.

works for others.

Remember turn it on in settings and just hold left on the right joystick to REWIND.

Have fun and all the best.

Enjoy your WELL DESERVED BRAKE.

Let's leave @m4xw alone for a bit lol

Great work and progress.

I'm out for a bit also need to take my eye off the screen for a bit.
