Is he? At least he mentioned at gbatemp that he's attempting to work on Lakka.Isn't this @natinusala? Good work!
Will there be battery calibration or LCD screen issues to worry about with this Lanka Port?
Those problems will most likely still be present since this isn't booting into the Nintendo Switch OS but a linux distro. You will have to take apart your switch and remove the battery to reset calibration.
Or charge it to 100%
Doesn't work for some people. I tried to do that three times and still faced the issue.
I guess the three remaining things (display damage, battery calibration and no sound) need to be patched into the kernel, which then can be used for all three recent distributions -> Ubuntu, (Painless) Arch, LakkaWill there be battery calibration or LCD screen issues to worry about with this Lanka Port?
Hence why he said "some people", meaning it works for some and doesnt work for others.Worked on my device
That's some pretty awesome progress!XMB menu with full hardware acceleration
It's already available, but the performances on Arch will not be as good as Lakka's.That's some pretty awesome progress!
Will this be available to RetroArch being used from "just" inside your "normal" Arch Linux as well?
A fix will eventually come, it's just a register on Horizon OS with the bad value.I'd say not to install linux on your system no matter what. The battery issue may happen and destroy your switch by a soft brick.
until that fix happens, i will stay away from stuff like lakka and other linux distros.A fix will eventually come, it's just a register on Horizon OS with the bad value.
Will this lakka port have the same issue?A fix will eventually come, it's just a register on Horizon OS with the bad value.
