I for once recommend funding (early access) Cross Code.
It is completely unrelated, but when in Rome do as the Romans do, so I am adding some spaghetti to the off-topic salad.

PS: and actually Cross Code's gameplay is awesome.

You're the one that keeps bringing up sexualization, not me. I mentioned it in relation to loli games on Steam, but there isn't too much in the way of sexualization in this particular game. Some super short skirts and one character on that front image has no shirt on
The poster before you called them lolis then you said "I agree." Also, the character "with no shirt on" is wearing a turtleneck vest. Look closely at the neck. Anyways, I never said the game looked good. In fact, I thought it looked rather bad, but that's beside the point. You're telling people the game is a waste of time without ever playing it. Anyone can point at alpha footage and say the game looks like crap. I could also look at RWBY: Grimm Eclipse and say that because I didn't like the anime that the game sucks, without ever playing it. I could also say that the characters have large eyes, long hair, and short skirts and the developers only put those features in the game/anime to distract from a sub-par game/anime.

If you're going to showcase a product for crowd funding and in that showcase use 30 seconds of gameplay with 1 minute of static 2D art then you should insure that 30 seconds of gameplay is of absolute quality.

Not some terrible flat textured, shonky hit detection, non impact, generic combat, awful ai knock off of Y's.

Getting all salty when people are critical of what is a frankly terrible presentation doesn't help, why should anyone invest and fund something if you can't even create seconds of quality.

Saying but it's got great music and crowd funding with no strings attached is completely irrelevant, I'm certainly not funding a product because I feel slightly sorry for it, that's the main problem with crowd funding in the first place. Having your heart in the right place is not a prerequisite for a decent video game, which looking at the knock off generic qualities shown this product clearly doesn't even have.

It looks like a crappy version of the SAO games which themselves weren't even very good.

Sorry that people didn't like your find but if your going to sell someone a turd at least put it in a box first, cos nobody's buying this shit.

Who determines where "loli" fits or not? Seems like random restriction. You can say that for any anime/manga trope.

My bad, what I meant to say was that the "loli" part I was feeling didn't seem to be motivated by anything but fan service. Again, only my opinion and the game is still in development so I might be wrong. I've nothing about lolitas when it serves a purpose. For example, if the story was about war (with most of the men on the battlefield or dead) , their presence would be motivated by the scenario. That's what I meant by fitting or not. But again, only my advice, and not the truth or something

To get a bit back on track, rather something has "loli", is "realistic" or not, doesn't determine or predict the quality of a game or anime. Btw, they do have teeth and all of them have shirts on. Now loli and other things aside.

On the kickstarter page.
Destiny Chronicles is a large, complex game that will require a lot of funds to reach its full potential, especially when it comes to art and animations.

It is currently in a pre-alpha state, but the final game will be much more polished. Once we're funded, we plan to redo the animations to make them quicker and feel more responsive. You'll also be able to jump in the final game, which we didn't showcase in the current footage.

Additionally, we are using placeholder assets for the environments and monsters, but with your support, we’ll be able to create original assets such as:

Unique environment assets
3D character and monster models
New character designs and concept art
Animations
VFXs

Additionally, the Kickstarter funds will also allow us to finish the soundtrack and fully flesh out the story and character interactions.

Game has a clear direction on where it is going. If some people want to harshly judge it as if this is the final game, fine. As if people judging a early development like this, hasn't been wrong before. While I'm not saying it is the perfect game and deserves no criticism, I did not expect such harsh, genuinely some confusing and non-constructive criticism. This may as well be it. This could very well be or near the final product, but it is way too early to decide and assume that.

Meanwhile, instead of shooting it down before it even begins, I hope more people see this game and like where it is going. Give it at least support, if not funding. I just don't want people to see this hate train and think this is it. The video is the basic idea, not the final product. This game could be as good as all the other games listed here and no, it doesn't have to be a "masterpiece" to be good. Honestly, you guys are being way too quick to judge and way to shortsighted.

Btw, one of the rewards is beta testing, if you want to give direct constructive criticism.

Ehh.. My biggest complaint is that it looks bland. But I actually hope things go well for the developers.. I mean you never know when something could be a surprise hit.
