ROM Hack Desmume Savestate Format

Searched for that and came up with 91 pages.

Anyone know what the format is for Desmume Savestates? I am sure they are either compressed or encrypted, as they are all different sizes.
VBA ones were simply gz compressed files. I hope these are similarly easy.

I have tried to look through it but I don't know a lick of c++. I use VB for my programming.
