DeSmuME and save files help

    so yeah, how do you use the save files from flash carts on this emulator? i tried changing the .sav to .dsv but nothing

    Use the Shunyweb or UniqueGeeks save converter. Either convert directly to DeSmuME savetype, or convert to RAW and then change the extension of that .sav to .dsv.

    Once converted do ensure that your savefile has the same filename as your ROM (except for the extension of course), and that your save is inside the folder specified in Config -> Path Settings -> SaveRam under DeSmuME.

    i have tried using both converts including the offline converter but the game keeps initializing the save data. i guess it doesn't work or something

    i have also done that and it still initialized the save data. the game is solatorobo: red the hunter

    1.Go to Shunyweb site posted above

    2.Use the target format

    Acekard RPG | EZFlash V | RAW Format [Autodetection] (.sav)

    3.Then once the sav is converted and moved then open DeSmuME open the game you want then import backup memory and reset desmume and tada...

    just tried. same thing, initializing save data. i guess it won't work for this game then

    Guess not, it worked fine for joker 2 when I tried it awhile ago...

    If it is a kind of protection, if you start new game and save in desmume, it will be deleted too.
    Test should be done. Or there might be some result on the Internet
