PS1/2 Delocalization patch for Persona 1?

Since the PS1 music patch for the PSP version is far from perfect, I'm wondering how hard it would be to create a patch for the PS1 version of Persona that restores the Japanese character portraits and adds the PSP translation and Japanese VA. If it's not too rigorous I'd be willing to make it someday.

I too would like a hack/fan patch of this as well. Shouldnt be too complex, right? Although it is a hack and hacks can have unforeseen issues; itd be cool for somebody experienced with Persona fan patches/rom hacks to give input.
