Hello, Ill try to be as specific as possible because Im not the most informed when it comes to CFW.

I mainly used it to overclock the 3ds.
But I found little use of it, and I only used the freeshop for very specific things like getting ambassador titles.

Here is my problem:
The other night I deleted a lot of my apps like FBI and Luma, freeshop and all games on because I wasnt using it. Its on the latest firmware now so I could get my games Ive downloaded legally.

But now my system wont even turn on. The screen is black and the light turns blue for a while but then shuts off. I can still enter godmode completely, and I can still access the overclock menu.
When I turn it on from the Luma menu, I get this:
”Unable to mount crtnand or load the crtnand firm”

A friend of mine tried to format my sd card and get new Nand files and luma updated. But we still get nowhere.

Its a japanese new LL model. Any way to factory reset it or anything?
Weve tried restoring it with The Recovery Mode too, but it wont start.

I would really appreciate the help, my 3DS means a lot to me, I hope I didnt kill it. ^^’

Looks to me like your system is looking for boot.firm and not finding it. Throw Luma on the SD card and see if it boots. Only curious thing is that it looks to me by your own description that you've tried this.

Edit: If you're getting to the Luma menu fine, ignore this. It's something else. Probably a system file if so. You'll likely need to find a way to boot into the system menu, which will be the hard part, then running a system update to restore whatever system file is missing. I dunno at that point.

Do you have a NAND backup of before deleting the stuff? Most likely thing I can think of is that you deleted a system file.

We did it in such a rush that We never got a back up...we looked everywhere for it but couldnt find it.

I know all of this sounds ridiculously stupid, but I never thought it would get this bad.

Can I replace my nand file somehow?

Any way to system update through Luma or Godmode?

First try what Sophie said and put a boot.firm file (or arm9loaderhax.bin, depends on your setup) on your SD card, if it doesn't work try this as you don't have a NAND backup.
Try all three files before doing a CTRTransfer.

I will make an attempt with this more thoroughly.
My friend and I looked over this yesterday, we kept getting an error message whenever we tried to Transfer the Image to the ctrnand.

So we tried to make a new ctrnand since we assumed there was no ctrnand to tranfer onto. No luck...

Try all three files before doing a CTRTransfer.
this seems new...I will give this a go. Grabbing my 3DS from my friend after work.

Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
