... They actually went and did it.

I see that it got a nice curve in it, but no... just no.

Only thing I would be using that for if they had good 3ds to wii u,
using the 3ds as a controller. Other than that, I can't see myself using
    it.

Are the XL slide pads smaller?

Hopefully Nyko will make a Power Grip Pro 3DS XL. For those who don't know what a power grip pro is, it is basically a circle pad pro with added protection for the 3DS and extended battery life. It is said to be releasing during October. http://www.nyko.com/products/product-detail/?name=Power+Grip+Pro

I think this could double as a shoe for a basketball player.

Well this was expected to happen anyway but my surprise comes from why some gamers are so okay with this piece of crap and still think its a "good" addition to the 3DS.

I personally think the 3DS doesn't need a second analog. Hell, I bought the damn CPP for my original 3DS to play KH, but I find the game is better without the CPP.

No games use the CPP at all, well fully. There's no point in having it. I mean what is going to do, let you have FPS games on a handheld? OOOH fancy.

I'm okay with this, but there's no point in getting it when there's no games worth getting it for. Hell, I would say Metal Gear Solid would benefit from it, but that game sucks on the 3DS anyways.

I wonder if it has rubbery ass underneath... mmffff.

I'll buy it anyway, when I get my XL.

Unless I find a serious "must buy" game that just begs to be played with dual analogs, I won't be getting this. And even then, I'm not sure.

Or you could just get the HD version which isn't a fucking mess.

That's why so many people complain about 3DS XL not having a native 2nd analog.
That thing looks bigger than my foot(14 USA/48.5 EUR)

Played the demo, didn't care for it (never really been a MGS fan). And I don't have a Vita, so no HD version for me.

Does everyone forget about the MGS HD collection for PS3 and 360?

    0_0 Didn't realize there was a 360 version.

Either way, not really a MGS fan... but maybe I'll give it a chance, when I have some money and no idea what to spend it on.

That's what I've been saying, and all judicious people in gbatemp.
There are some kind of games that require a 2nd analog for better gaming experience.
The 3DS XL is huge, and a circle pad pro turns it almost unportable.
The 3DS XL have plenty space to put that, and I bet we will see 3DS and 3DS XL revisions with a second analog.

This thing has probably reached Game Gear proportions by now.

@p1ngpong I'm looking forward to your comparisons.

To be honest, it looks A LOT better than the original CPP.

Still, it's a piece of optional crap. Hopefully Nyko comes out a proper solution.
