... They actually went and did it.

I see that it got a nice curve in it, but no... just no.

Only thing I would be using that for if they had good 3ds to wii u,
using the 3ds as a controller. Other than that, I can't see myself using
it.

Are the XL slide pads smaller?

Hopefully Nyko will make a Power Grip Pro 3DS XL. For those who don't know what a power grip pro is, it is basically a circle pad pro with added protection for the 3DS and extended battery life. It is said to be releasing during October. http://www.nyko.com/products/product-detail/?name=Power+Grip+Pro

Well this was expected to happen anyway but my surprise comes from why some gamers are so okay with this piece of crap and still think its a "good" addition to the 3DS.

I personally think the 3DS doesn't need a second analog. Hell, I bought the damn CPP for my original 3DS to play KH, but I find the game is better without the CPP.

No games use the CPP at all, well fully. There's no point in having it. I mean what is going to do, let you have FPS games on a handheld? OOOH fancy.

I'm okay with this, but there's no point in getting it when there's no games worth getting it for. Hell, I would say Metal Gear Solid would benefit from it, but that game sucks on the 3DS anyways.

That's why so many people complain about 3DS XL not having a native 2nd analog.
That thing looks bigger than my foot(14 USA/48.5 EUR)

Does everyone forget about the MGS HD collection for PS3 and 360?
0_0 Didn't realize there was a 360 version.

Either way, not really a MGS fan... but maybe I'll give it a chance, when I have some money and no idea what to spend it on.
Psst: That's gonna take a LONG time.
mostly cuz I'm broke.
and partially because I have a girlfriend

And before anyone starts saying "oh, then devs will make a bunch of dual analog only games," please. Nintendo has complete control and can easily require devs to allow single-analog support as well as dual analog support, same as always. It's not hard.

That's what I've been saying, and all judicious people in gbatemp.
There are some kind of games that require a 2nd analog for better gaming experience.
The 3DS XL is huge, and a circle pad pro turns it almost unportable.
The 3DS XL have plenty space to put that, and I bet we will see 3DS and 3DS XL revisions with a second analog.

To be honest, it looks A LOT better than the original CPP.

Still, it's a piece of optional crap. Hopefully Nyko comes out a proper solution.
