I am trying to recover saves from a drive that was formatted. I know I can decrypt an external usb drive, but my problem is that my drive is 2tb. I need to decrypt the drive and open it in a hex editor. I know how to do this with a second drive, but is it possible with out the need for a second (or even third) 2tb drive?
I've tried mounting in linux using wfs-fuse but it doesn't seem to actually mount the entire drive, just the freshly formatted sectors. Problem is, in order to search for the data I am looking for, I need to be able to load the entire decrypted disk...
Any ideas?
