Hacking DealExtreme now has CycloDS

Wow, really? Standard for me took about... 12 days? It wasn't so bad. 35 isn't much to spend either.. I'm half tempted to just order(pre-order I guess) it now.

What really pissed me off, was that my free shipping order before my EMS order took only 7 days.

Now.. that's messed up. Did you take it up with their support? It's pretty damn messed up that standard shipping was faster then EMS.

The reason why their EMS shipping is still slow is they have to order it from their supplier. AFAIK 'most' of their stock isn't actually held by them, labor/storage costs and whatnot.

Air mail: Order received, waiting for supplier, packaged, sent to HKPost office, sent to you.
EMS: Order received, waiting for supplier, packaged, sent to HKPost office, sent to you.
Now if waiting for supplier wasn't in there EMS would be quite a bit faster.

As for people wanting to buy the CycloDS from DX now, don't bother. They're probably backordered by now. Heck they were probably backordered a few hours after the listing went up.

My Supercard hasn't even arrived to replace my FAT ERROR'd AK2 and I've already ordered a Cyclo... and a screwdriver. o.=.O; Sorry, I couldn't resist. If it's Cyclo, I have to, and better now before all the cart sharks bite away the entire stock as soon as it arrives.

The new batches of the cyclods have the micro sd slot on the other side. I have one from the first batch and one from the new batch. The new cards doesn't have a chip sticking out anymore and they slide in and out of the ds better. The pictures of the cyclods from Dealextreme site looks like the cyclo ds I got from RHS.

Also when ever I order from Dealextreme, it usually only take about 1 week for me to receive my order. I live in SoCal.

Alright people. If you do want to order it, then order it. If it does go backordered on the status (which it probably will) and depending on the date they will restock, you can wait until they restock or open up a customer express ticket and ask for a refund. Simple.

well, I ordered one to theoretically replace my R4. I don't mind waiting a month or whatever since my R4 is still working, but I've never dealt with "DX" before. Hopefully it doesn't turn into some international shipping/fake card nightmare.
