It is a proper EN translation of v849.
The rashevskv ones are missing half of the strings. (Which, I think, is valid for all languages)

Can you fork their GitHub and create it there? It's more trustworthy than randomly uploading a file.

Nah, the guy is desperately trying to increase his number of followers in his youtube channel to try making a buck, so he releases an "AIO minimalist" package where DBI is one of the few things added to atmosphere. Of course, if he doesn't keep dbi updated because is in russian, people will ask him why there are others around with versions in Spanish... if he updates and there are issues with the patched versions, then there will be people complaining too... so instead of simply using something else (sphaira for example, has some of the same functionalities that a lot of dbi users use... ftp, mtp, installing, dumping... ) he comes here to ask for other people's "approval to use".
Just be nice, he is so desperately trying to make his channel work that he even uploads pirated games to his telegram channel for people to download (not such a good idea if N8**do decides investigating)...

Personally I think DBI is great and there is the official version 658 for when I need doing something I understand (like operations with files to delete folders and so without having to find a translation) and the newest in russian for the other thing I use it for: fTP (usually to browse the cart), which is the third option starting from the top when selecting the ftp
@duckbill007 one idea could be releasing once a year one version in a different language (like on Christmas or Chinesse new year ) (not even needing to be the latest one) just to keep the "intrigue" on what language you would select that year I vote for Greek

I have update DBI 849 rus version. First time it run a kind of seeking files for a while, then it show as it works but something crash with MTP module.

I can't mount switch in Mac with OpenMTP after that.
I have prove other app as USB File Transfer as I used to work just one minute before that and I can't show my switch in Mac mounted as MTP unit

If I back to old DBI it doesn't work show as the module isn't loaded

Edit: solved after switch reboot

Anyone got this problem with dbi? Everytime i need switch with pc using dbi, all screenshot in my album will be delete. Not to mention still can't installing nsp properly anymore without risk of path too long error

mainly bug fixes on MTP responder. i cant test it thoroughly because its in russian. my only concern on 844 is MTP install is not working. it might be from my cable tho.

yes but keep the name different to each other. such as DBI_1.0.nro & DBI_1.2.nro. Both will show separately in HB Menu

I tried this one as well as the last version in github.
both in applet and application mode, with prod keys and sys-patch installed.

both are stucks when finalizing installation

It's actually the trimmed xci file that was failing to isntall.
I'm using XCI cutter to trim my xci files, what's the best away in 2025 to trim files?

You can try the ultra group.... for example... rashevsky is not an official distribution for them as far as I know.
(he distributes the official release, but it's not doing it officially)..

Or you could also get it from ... I don't know.. HATS ?

Stuck? My installation won't even start no matter what I use (DBI 849, Awoo Installer, or Tinleaf). I'm getting a 'Failed to open file system with id' error. (I'm on 19.01 | AMS 1.8.0|E)
