Last night, rashevskyv posted the latest version of DBI v849 translated into all languages.
Is it safe to use this patched version, following Duckbill's warnings?
Will you be using a translated version?

ive been using version 845 using the patcher without any issues, so will start using this once this is done.

Note:
Not tested. String alignment was not performed. Will be done in a newer version sometime later.

1) why do you think issues should be from the very beginning?
2) are you sure that there are no issues?

I have update DBI 849 rus version. First time it run a kind of seeking files for a while, then it show as it works but something crash with MTP module.

I can't mount switch in Mac with OpenMTP after that.
I have prove other app as USB File Transfer as I used to work just one minute before that and I can't show my switch in Mac mounted as MTP unit

If I back to old DBI it doesn't work show as the module isn't loaded

Edit: solved after switch reboot

I don't speak any Russian, but it's really not that hard to find the correct option for dbi backend - no need for an unofficial translation.

Indeed is a crazy thing. I’m not sure what the translation could do ontomy switch if it is as emunand

Is it enough just if i only load the app or if I make a game installation in console? And if i manage savegames?

I wonder why there has to be 20 dbi topics, tho. Imho one would completely suffice. It's kinda good soft, but not *that* good - maybe some mod could merge them?

I asked him if he gonna create topic for each version. And he said that he wont create it at all. But...

So, I do not understand wharre are topics for 850, 851, 852 and others? Also separate topic for each language needed

This isn't a topic about DBI. It's a topic about a patched version of DBI.

Hm, got great idea! Maybe you could create official one, including the translations. That way, the others could be locked / removed.

I personally loved using dbi, cause its a great tool. so thanks for that.
But these language discussions are really getting nowhere...
so either he will do it again or not, nothing more to discuss about, since its closed source anyway a lost discussion...

and to say something:
I would agree having just one topic about dbi "updates" should be enough
