Hello Tempers!

I've finally finished my exams and congratulated myself by buying the Datel Powersave dongle (kinda lame if you think much into it)...
I thought before I could start playing the newer games, I wanted to complete the older ones I hadn't time to fully play and so on.

Anyway...
Testing the Datel dongle worked like a charm on original cartridges.
Is there anyway to make it work on the Gateway cart?
Once I gonnect my GW into the dongle, it stays still for a couple of seconds then ask me again to insert the game cart (unlike original games which proceed to save editing and backup).
-I'll will post images later since I'm currently writing from my phone -

If you have a definitive answer that would help, you'd make my day.
If you have a theory that needs testing, I'd be happy to try it.

Thanks all in advance.

the GW3ds being used on the Cyber gadget save editor has the same issue. I'd assume its because the save are encrypted differently than normal saves.

Is there any other tool on the market that could decrypt GWs encryption/ wider range of save file compatibility?
I barely knew of Datels a week ago and ordered it on the spot

Would this work on multirom or would you need to write the single rom onto the gateway cart using the old method of disk imager?

You would, since by default no ROM is selected when you insert the card. But once the FPGA is updated it seems like the old method will no longer work and there is no way of going back.
But it doesn't matter since it doesn't work anyway.
